This book was released in 2009 and written by Samisa Abeysinghe. It is not heavy book to read. On 184 pages the author addresses problems, issues when developing application e.g. using PHP in development team - for example team made of 4 PHP developers.

If you are into developing web applications using PHP and you want to do this according to the best software engineering standards this is the book I highly recommend to read.

This book was released in 2010. Dirk Merkel, the author of this book, covers everything what you would need to know to start developing PHP apps following to commonly accepted standards.

An author of this book - Elliot Jay- shares his rich and extensive experience gained working on different web projects.

The author explains and guides readers through the whole process of designing web site: from discovery stage to final design comp (comprehensive artwork). Each stage between discovery and comp stages is characterised well and illustrated by referring to real projects - this is what makes this book easy to read and follow.
